incorporate sustainability into the
majority of our eyewear products:
Materials
We carefully select materials that
have minimal environmental impact.
Most of our frames are made from
high-quality plant-derived and
biodegradable materials. We are one
of the first manufacturers that have
used the new M49 bioplastic by
Mazzucchelli which is 100%
recyclable, 100% eco-friendly and
100% biodegradable. Our factory
Greek Handmade Frames, is using the
ISO 14001:2015 in order to operate in
an eco-friendly operations plan.
Acetate is derived from cellulose,
a renewable resource. Cellulose is
commonly obtained from sustainably
managed forests or agricultural
waste, reducing the reliance on fossil
fuels. Additionally, acetate is
biodegradable, meaning it can
naturally decompose
over time.
